OUR MISSION

Good Father Ministries is a non-profit, faith-based organization created to serve and offer hope and the love of Jesus Christ to Haitian villagers in the batey of Santa Alicia, Dominican Republic.

Keaton Emerson

"I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic with Good Father Ministries twice, once as a high school student and again with my wife after college. Both experiences were impactful in different ways. As a high school student, I learned a lot about myself and was stretched outside of my comfort zone in ways that helped me grow. When I returned years later with my wife, I gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and needs of the people we were connecting with. I’m grateful for both opportunities, the relationships I built with the teams and the people in the Dominican Republic, and most importantly, the opportunity to be a part of God’s mission."

Drs. Eric and Janet Robinson and family

"My wife and I, along with our four children, have had the privilege of participating in two mission trips with Good Father Ministries. Words cannot truly express the profound and lasting impact these experiences have had on our family.

During our trips, we had the opportunity to serve as part of a medical team that cared for several hundred patients over the course of just a few days. As meaningful as it was to provide medical care, one of my greatest joys was watching our children serve alongside us—playing with the children, loving and serving others, and in return being so warmly loved and welcomed by the people of the Dominican Republic.

These trips have touched our hearts and changed our family in ways that are difficult to put into words. The memories, relationships, and experiences we shared will remain with us for the rest of our lives. We are incredibly grateful to Good Father Ministries for allowing our family to be a part of this work, and we pray that the Lord will give us the opportunity to serve alongside them again in the near future."

OUR PROGRAM

We take teams to Santa Alicia 2–3 times per year where we share our love of God and faith in Jesus Christ through Bible stories, worship, personal testimony, music, crafts, and games.

Teams may do light construction work, support dental or eyeglass clinics, accompany villagers on educational field trips, share evening devotions, and develop strong relationships. Ongoing we provide support for a monthly breakfast program and funding for college education that offers greater opportunities for employment in areas outside of the plantations.
